I am excited to be a part of the counseling team at Skyview! I first joined the D49 community when my family and I moved to Colorado Springs in 2010.  I am originally from Texas, but the Air Force brought us to Colorado and now we are here to stay.  My work in education began in the elementary level in special education, and I spent some time as a high school counselor as well.  On a personal note, I am an avid sports fan (Go Longhorns! Go Avs!) and I love to watch movies.  When I have extra time, I like to travel, visit historical places, and spend time outdoors with family and friends. I have always had a passion to support young people as they travel their journey in life and strive to create a positive and encouraging environment for all students. Go Eagles!!
